Successful London Restaurateur of 30 years, Antony Griffith Harris and partner Stacey C Elder, a former actress. Together and alongside Nick and Kate Anderson, our dynamic husband and wife duo who heads up the kitchen, collectively our aim is to bring tantalising food to this beautiful part of the Cotswold’s.

Antony has spent extensive time in the restaurant trade, having opened his first venue, "The Canal Brasserie" a much sought after destination restaurant in West London in 1987, which became a finalist in The Timeout - ‘Best Modern British Restaurant’ awards. In 1998 he took over the eclectic ‘First Floor Restaurant and Private Dining Rooms’ in fashionable Notting Hill. This went on to win many accolades for exquisite food and beautiful decor.

Antony reunited with Head Chef, Nicholas Anderson during 2017. It is now 30 years on from when Antony gave his first Head Chef role to
Nick, a young and upcoming Chef at the time. Having worked harmoniously together for four years during the 1990s. Nick then went on to own and run two extremely successful restaurants. During this time in Nicholas' career, he amassed; 3 AA Rosettes, 6/10 Good Food
Guide and most notably, two Michelin Stars.

Kate Anderson, our excellent Sous Chef brings with her an expertise in pastry making. Kate's' talents also extend into making homemade bread, delectable puddings, ice cream and sorbets.

Collectively, we aim to champion the best seasonal produce locally sourced from British farmers, with occasional indulgences as-well-as virtuous everyday fare.

Here at The Boxing Hare, we continue to create a warm, charming and informal atmosphere, in which we welcome new and returning customers.

Most importantly to us is that The Boxing Hare presents a homely environment for our diners to while away the hours and above all, to be looked after by people who truly love what they do.
